Breast cancer will starts when the cells in the breast begins to grow out of their control. These cells generally form a tumor which can often be seen on performing an x-ray or felt as a lump. The tumor was malignant means it is cancerous, if the cells can invade the surrounding tissues or even they spread (metastasize) to the distant areas of the body. The first symptoms of the breast cancer were generally an area of thickened tissue in woman's breast, or a lump. There may be many causes of the breast cancer which includes: getting older, genetics, obesity & exposer to estrogen.

But post-menopausal obese & overweight in women will have a higher risk of developing the breast cancer. Doctors say that there will be higher levels of the estrogen in the obese menopausal women, which will be the cause of higher risk of breast cancer.

Women who are suffering with overweight or obese after the menopause will have a 30 - 60 % of higher breast cancer risk when compared with those who are lean. Being overweight after menopause will increases the risk of the estrogen receptor-positive breast cancers more than estrogen receptor-negative cancers. Gaining the weight in the adulthood will appears to increase risk of the breast cancer before & after menopause.
